Mobile Device Policy

The following information outlines the proper usage of mobile devices (cell phones, smart phones, PDAs, etc) at the 2012 Sony Open in Hawaii.  We strive to enhance the spectator experience at the Sony Open while preserving the integrity of the PGA TOUR competition.  Your cooperation and kokua is greatly appreciated.

ALLOWED:

• All electronic devices must be set to SILENT at all times.
• Calls are only permitted in designated Cell Phone Zones.  See course map for approved areas.
• Texting is permitted, but limited to areas away from competition.

NOT ALLOWED:

• No photographs are permitted during Official Competition Rounds, Thursday-Sunday (no photos or video from mobile devices such as smart phones, PDAs, iPhones, etc may be taken during Official Competition).
• No video recording permitted anytime, Monday - Sunday.

Failure to adhere to this Mobile Device Policy may result in the confiscation of your mobile device or removal from the tournament.
