Grants for Charities
Friends of Hawaii Charities, Inc. provides grants to Hawaii not-for-profit organizations that benefit women, children, youth, and basic needs programs. Since 1999, Friends and official charity partner, The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, Inc. have generated more than $9,000,000 benefiting numerous Hawaii not-for-profit organizations.

What began in 1998 as a single act of caring by a small group of Hawaii business executives who formed Friends of Hawaii Charities, Inc., and a benevolent partnership with The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, Inc., has generated annually $1 million for Hawaii charities through funds raised from the Sony Open in Hawaii PGA TOUR golf tournament, Friends Club program, and other charity donations.
