Grants for Charities
Friends of Hawaii Charities, Inc. provides grants to Hawaii not-for-profit organizations that benefit women, children, youth, and basic needs programs. Since 1999, Friends and official charity partner, The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, Inc. have generated more than $8,000,000 benefiting numerous Hawaii not-for-profit organizations.

What began in 1998 as a single act of caring by a small group of Hawaii business executives who formed Friends of Hawaii Charities, Inc., and a benevolent partnership with The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, Inc., has generated annually $1 million for Hawaii charities through funds raised from the Sony Open in Hawaii PGA TOUR golf tournament, the LPGA SBS OPEN at Turtle Bay, and other charity donations and other charity donations.
