Friends of Hawaii Charities, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission it is to generate needed funding for Hawaii’s charity organizations that benefit women, children, youth, and needy programs. The Friends’ principal fund-raising event is the SONY OPEN IN HAWAII PGA TOUR golf tournament held at Waialae Country Club each January. Friends and the event’s charity partner, The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, Inc. have generated more than $11,000,000 for hundreds of charities in the Hawaiian Islands.

You can contribute to Friends of Hawaii Charities in various ways:

• Become a sponsor of the Sony Open in Hawaii PGA TOUR golf tournament!
• Volunteer your time!  Friends of Hawaii Charities is a volunteer-based organization, that brings together spirited volunteers from within the community. Volunteers are the "heartbeat" of our organization, and through their spirit of service have become "friends of Hawaii’s charities." Thousands of volunteers donate countless hours each year to assist with our fund-raising events. If you’d like to become a "friend" and volunteer at these events or throughout the year with special projects, please complete and submit the appropriate volunteer registration form. 
• Join The Friends Club as a member!  Join The Friends Club now and become a friend to Hawaii charities. Annual membership fees begin at $100, and include Sony Open values and invitations to special events.
